Nothing Technology Ltd. plans to introduce its first flagship smartphone, the Phone 3, in July. The device will target premium models such as the Samsung Galaxy S25, OnePlus 13 and Xiaomi 15 series.
Company founder Carl Pei signaled that the Phone 3 will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor to deliver high-end performance. Flipkart has launched a dedicated product page, confirming that the Phone 3 will be sold exclusively through its platform in India.
In a brief teaser posted on X, formerly Twitter, Nothing displayed the Phone 1’s rear LED lights powering down alongside the message, "We killed the Glyph Interface." The clip suggests that the company may retire the LED-based notification system that defined earlier models.
Pricing for the Phone 3 is expected to start at around £800 in the U.K. (£ 800, roughly -$1,064 or Rs 90,510). By comparison, the Phone 2 with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage launched at £629 (about -$836 or Rs 71,185) and sold in India at Rs 49,999. The Phone 3 will likely debut with at least 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, and built-in artificial intelligence functions.
Industry reports indicate the Phone 3 may feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. The handset will support 50 W fast charging and include a 5,000 mAh battery.
Design changes are expected to include a circular rear camera array similar to the OnePlus 12, while retaining a modified version of the Glyph interface for visual alerts. The display is likely to measure 6.77 inches, using an AMOLED LTPO panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness around 3,000 nits.
Camera capabilities will remain a priority. The Phone 3 is rumored to carry three 50 megapixel sensors on the back for wide, ultra-wide and telephoto shooting. A 32 megapixel front-facing camera will handle selfies and video calls. The setup aims to deliver detailed image quality for both stills and video.
